GOAL!!!!

Well I have hit my surgical goal weight yeah.  However we have hit a snag. My cultures came back from my biopsies he did during my endoscopy and I have H-pylori. H-pylori is also know as the Helicopter virus because of the shape of the virus itself. So now I go on two weeks of anti biotic and then I will have to have another endoscopy done with more cultures taken before they can even schedule the regular surgery. This devastated me today. But it is what it is. A little more about H-pylori= Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection occurs when a type of bacteria called Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infects your stomach. This usually happens during childhood. A common cause of peptic ulcers, H. pylori infection may be present in more than half the people in the world. Most people don't realize they have H. pylori infection, because they never get sick from it. If you develop signs and symptoms of a peptic ulcer, your doctor will probably test you for H. pylori infection.

OH MY......

Well on August 2nd I went for a private Physical fitness training session, it went well but my M.S. was acting up so I was shaky, but I made it through the entire session. 30 mins of exercising. I don't know when the last time it was that I did full exercising, besides just walking. We did lifting weights, riding a bike, all kinds of things. She weighed me as well. I am 7 lbs away from surgery weight. Yeah me. Come to today, It was my first day of Circuit training. I hurt in places I didn't know I had muscles. I am still twitching hours later. But I am super proud of myself. I did the entire 80 mins  without quitting or needing extra breaks. I am excited to do it again, I never thought I would say that. But I will be circuit training on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday's every week. The best part about it, everyone there looks like me or is on the same journey I am or have completed the journey I have. I'm considering adding 2 more days a week at the pool for strength

Welcome to Phase 2

For what ever reason it looks like these are out of order, even though I typed them in order and posted them in order. Don't ask me what I did, I am not computer literate at times. Anyways.  If at anytime you want to comment of ask me anything go ahead I will try to answer your question.  But please no hating on me. Ok so I check in with the doctor after the dietitian and it is time to start Phase 2, which just means I get 2 protein shakes a day and one meal.  Having fun yet.  Like the first time it is hard.  I have become used to it by now.  I have now got my orders for the 14 days before surgery and they are scary but I am determined. It is an all liquid diet. clear liquid except for the 3 protein shakes to replace meals. TJ is behind me in what I want to do, I don't think he understands it. Introduction

Hi, This is my story of being overweight, always being looked at funny, being the last one picked on the field to play games with, having to special order clothes because regular clothes just don't  fit right, This is me. The fat girl of the bunch. Yes I am loved, and my husband loves me the way I am and fell in love with a chunky girl, but this chunky girl no longer loves the body she is in. Yes your thinking well get out there and exercise and diet.  I have done that. Believe me.  I have lost close to 100 lbs on my own only to gain back 30 of it. I always hit a plateau and then get stuck there. I have tried starvation, Ya that one isn't good for you. I have heard all the lectures too.  I have been on slim fast, tried all the tiny meals 6 times a day to get my thyroid kicking.  Except we found out my Thyroid isn't going to be kicking anywhere. It's almost deader than a door nail. Yes I am on medicine for it.  Just thought I would say that before anyone ask.  Thrive

Phase 1

Well I told you I would post about Phase 1 so hear goes.  Phase one is replacing one meal a day with a meal replacement shake with high protein in it as your meal.  I choose breakfast. I am not a big breakfast eater. They give you a sample to try at the office and it is Premier Vanilla,  but they tell you that everyone tells you that chocolate and the banana flavors are better. so I take it home and wait a day let it get cold in the refrigerator and then go ahead and drink it. Well lets say at that point I hope the chocolate or banana are better because the vanilla make me want to be sick.  So instead I have been on High protein Slim Fast, and been trying a few others that friends have asked me to try that know I am doing it. Thrive Chocolate- Nope, Herbalife- Banana; maybe a different flavor, Premier Chocolate- Yep I would defiantly do that one again. Muscle Milk- Not likely again, Ensure- ya but it doesn't contain 20 grams or more protein. Then of course when I saw the dietitia
